work it!
So I’ve been thinking about magazine covers a lot recently. Aliona Doletskaya and the ladies at Vogue Russia constantly Bring It. The latest cover, featuring Victoria Beckham shows such a great side of fashion: sexy, fun and in your face.
Here at Res. HQ, I’ve been playing around with ours, sometimes with success, sometimes not. For the first issue of ‘09 I wanted to go big a bold. I had an image of this big, fat, juicy font that I could not get out of my head. I think we made it about halfway there.
Looking back at the way Russian Vogue plays with text, I wonder if that’s where I got the idea? Naomi, datchu?
