Looks like things got a little chaotic down at the ol’ Top Model try-outs. While I’m not surprised that anything Ty-Ty related would turn totally OOC and OTT, what really surprises me is that so many people actually turned up. I’m mean, does anyone still believe that Tyra can make you a model? Think about it. C’mon Tyra. What have you done for me lately?
When’s the last time you saw an ANTM alum outside of the “where are they now” recaps? (Okay, I’ll admit that Mollie Sue and Katarzyna have some Vogue-level cred, and that one girl did that wig catalogue, and Naima used to lurk around my neighborhood, and that blonde chick’s been spotted working at St. Jerome…) But seriously, can you imagine the delusional shorties that showed up for this one? Probably tons of bitchy, prettiest-girl-on-the-block types. Just like Nigel likes ‘em.
I wonder what Malia and Sasha thought about this.
Now, I fell out of love with Top Model a while ago, but I still find myself tuning in each week. If only for my love for the fabulous Miss Jay. Glad to know that me and Michelle O. have so much in common!
