Lots of people are hating on the new ad campaign for Rodarte.
I’m going to say: I don’t hate it. Overall, the ad reflects the quiet feel of the line. And when I see the sheer wash of color over the text I literally see Jourdan Dunn in that amazing Spring 09 dress. Ain’t nothing wrong with that.
And besides, don’t you think if someone is ready to shell out that much money that they already have a pretty good idea of what the clothes look like. Seriously, I don’t even know where I’d wear a Rodarte dress. Maybe the next time I go to the Oscars?
