I just finished watching Charlie Rose’s interview with Joan Rivers. And after hearing her talk about books, I want to write her a letter.

I think a lot about writing people letters, but never do it. I was going to tell Glenn O’Brien about my Moleskine. I was going to tell Prime Meats about my Mom-Mom’s rouladen. And I was going to write William Vollmann about everything.

Now, I’m going to write to Joan Rivers about Vollmann.
